Dear Former/Current Fellows:

As we make our way through this school year, my thoughts turn to the warm summer days in DePere, Wisconsin.  The planning committee has met and begun scheduling speakers.  Plans for the summer are going well with our group meeting at St. Norbert College, in DePere Wisconsin from July 8 – 13, 2012.  During the planning group’s discussions, it appears that public education continues to be a focal point  on both the state and national levels with the anticipated change to the Common Core Standards. In understanding the continued challenges we all face during this time, the planning group decided on the theme, “Common Sense Core”, for this year’s conference.
